Location: Southern New Hampshire
Project: Manchester Common
Objective: Completed Project.
The Project: We began working with New England
Expedition, LLC on budgeting estimates on a similar
project in the year of 2000. The proposed site was
located in Nashua, NH. Unfortunately, the City of
Nashua decided not to release the necessary permits
to approve construction. Our equipment
came in handy in meeting the requirements of this
project.
New England Expedition, LLC had to find another location
that would conform to the rigid city and state permits/approvals
and satisfy their prospects.
Minor Challenges: An ideal location was discovered
in a nearby city. More engineering plans and contractor
estimates were developed to build in the City of Manchester,
NH. The proposed perspective land was occupied by
Donovan Spring, an equipment repair shop for heavy
trucks and vehicles. New England Expedition, LLC had
to build a new facility and relocate Donovan Spring;
before they could start their new plaza, Manchester
Commons. Within 7 months, the new facility was built
and Donovan Spring was relocated in November 2002.
In addition, Jennings Excavation Inc, was involved
in the complete site development work for the project.
Site information: Total site area covered 13.099 acres and
will accommodate 622 total parking spaces. A total of 161,400 square
feet of retail space, supporting 7 retail stores and 2 Auto repair
shops.
